One of my brother’s pet peeves is unnecessary quotation marks. So, I’ve been very aware of them for years. He’s going to love this site. Maybe you will, too. (Oh, and this site has been made into a book.)

See, I have Spelling Bee Fever from watching the finals last night on ESPN. The first few test words were all ones I knew how to spell, and I thought, “Maybe I could make it to the finals next year!” But the test confirmed that passing for a 14-year-old would be the least of my obstacles. How did you do?

So, I have to have a bicycle-related link whenever possible in May. “How is that different from every other month?” you ask. I don’t know; it just is. I wouldn’t mind having an adult-sized De Cafe Racer. There’s something very Fred Flintstone about it.

Lest you think I only watch educational television, let me introduce you to my newest TV show obsession “Ice Loves Coco” which follows the life of actor and rapper Ice-T and his wife Coco. I love it!

And in its own way “Ice Loves Coco” can be as educational as some shows on PBS. For instance, from a recent episode I found out that Hawaii is one of very few places in the world with rabies-free status.

The library does not own the first season of “Ice Loves Coco” so that you can watch it, too, but we do have materials by and about Ice-T. The library also has nothing by or about Coco, but how about something about “cocoa” instead?

30 Days of Biking is over.
